In House Design

As an added service to our retail customers we do offer some free in house planting design consultations. This is how it works, you bring in some pictures of the area your looking to landscape with some approximate measurements and we will sketch on paper a rough working layout that you can implement when you get home, provided plants are purchased from Central Nurseries. It is company policy that we do not give out these sketches until plants have been selected and paid for by the customer. These sketches are not to scale and by no means are meant to replace a proper landscape plan. By law we can only design plantings, if you have a new construction or are redoing your whole property then we can refer you to a designer that will meet you on site and provide a complete landscape plan to better suite your needs.

Please keep in mind that any design done in house is done by our sales staff during working hours (we do not send sales people off site), which means sometimes we ask customers to leave their pictures and info until we have the appropriate time to put something together. So we ask for your patience and understanding with regard to our workload.

Delivery

We offer delivery to most locations. Quotes are done on a per case basis. It depends on what is being delivered where and in some cases whether or not we need to send additional people to safely unload.  Delivery quotes are based on the above criteria and the understanding that materials will be unloaded in one appropriate location on site. It is company policy that we do not place plant material in pre-dug holes.

Trouble Shooting

As an additional service to our customers we can trouble shoot plant and landscapes problems. This is another service that sets Central Nurseries apart from other garden centers and the big box stores. Our knowledgeable and friendly sales people have backgrounds in Ornamental Horticulture, landscape construction and Landscape Architecture which adds up to many years of combined experience in the trade.

The world of Horticulture and the Landscaping profession is ever changing. As a result Central Nurseries is heavily involved in the trade associations and stays in touch with local Universities and landscape professionals to always be up to date with the latest industry research and information.
