Central Nurseries Garden Center is a full Service Garden Center located 10 minutes outside of Providence Rhode Island. Central Nurseries is a third generation family owned business that has been serving the public for over 70 years and understands the importance of customer relationships and the value of customer loyalty. We strive to provide our customers with the highest quality materials and unmatched service to help insure our customer’s success.

We pride ourselves on offering one of best selections of quality landscape materials in Rhode Island. Below is a brief summary of products we stock but we also have the ability to special order items.

Central Nurseries employs knowledgeable friendly people to service our customers.  Our employees have a real passion for their jobs and many of our staff have degrees in Horticulture and advanced training in the Landscape and Horticulture fields.  This is how we set ourselves apart from many other Garden Centers and Big Box Stores. There’s no substitution for great service.

Design Service

Central Nurseries can offer in house design consultations for free.  We ask that people bring in photos of the area to be landscaped and depending on the complexity and work load in the garden center, we can either work with customers on the spot or we ask customers to leave the pictures and once we have a sketch done than we can have customers come in and review the sketches. All sketches done in house are not to scale and are only meant to be used as a guide for laying out. By law we can only offer planting layout and cannot suggest hardscape layout. As a policy we do not give out sketches unless plants are purchased from Central Nurseries. If a master plan is required then we can provide a Landscape Architect to meet on site.

Delivery Service

Central Nurseries can provide delivery throughout Rhode Island and parts of Massachusetts and Connecticut. Delivery fees are based on the size of the order and location. Please call for delivery fees to your area. At this time we are not offering delivery on bulk mulch and loam, sorry for the inconvenience.
