All classes and events are held at our Johnston Garden Center location. Please check our facebook page for additional information. To register for workshops please call 401-942-7511. Walk-ins are welcome to the workshops but space is only guaranteed to those who have registered.

 

Leaf Casting Workshop
Saturday August 27th, 10:00 A.M.
$29.95 per person or 2+ for $25 each
Join us for leaf casting! Leaf casting is an easy way to create a long lasting piece of garden art. They are also great for attracting birds and other wildlife when filled with water. Each participant
receives leaf and all materials and instruction necessary. Please note each leaf will need to be left to dry and picked up at least 3 days later.

 

Create a Fall Planter
Saturday September 10th, 10:00 A.M.
$29.95 per person
Join us in creating a beautiful fall planter. A great time for families or friends, have fun, relax and make something beautiful for your yard or patio. The workshop includes all the materials
and instruction necessary to create your own unique planted arrangement.

 

80th Anniversary Celebration! (Part 2)

Join us in celebrating over 80 years of business! There will be an informational tour of our property from 10:00-11:00. There will be special one day only sales and give aways as well as a food truck and some other great surprises! Don’t miss out!

 

 

Fall Perennial Maintenance
Saturday October 1st, 10:00 A.M.
$14.95 per person or 2+ for $12.50 each
Learn how to clean and prepare many common types of perennials for the end of the season from a green industry professional. Each participant will leave with their own perennial.

 

 

Fairy Garden Workshop
Saturday October 22nd, 10:00 A.M.
$20 per person
With just a little imagination you can create something extraordinary. A great way for families to spend time together. These gardens are perfect for anyone young or old. Class includes instruction, container, natural elements, soil, one plant, gravel, and stones. There will also be a discount on all fairy garden accessories for participants during the class.
